Waterfall Seasons - The Waterfall Guide

As an advocate for waterfalls, swimming holes and water safety, I have been involved in a number of community campaigns, including various articles published on this website and in the mainstream media. I have also contributed to research and promotion of the recreational value of swimming holes. These contributions include:
- Recommending improvements to water safety at Lysterfield Lake in Melbourne in the local Leader newspaper
- Recommending access to Nethercote Falls near Eden in NSW should be maintained with appropriate safety improvements on site in the Merimbula News Weekly
- Promoting participation in the local council survey on access to the Yarra River at Bourchiers Road in Melbourne
- Interview with Amber Irving-Guthrie on ABC Radio Gippsland to provide comment on managing the pool in the Buchan Caves Reserve in Victoria
- Comments on swimming holes in the Northern Territory for Go Places, Toyota's magazine for car enthusiasts comms example
- Interview with Claire Bowditch on ABC Radio 774 Melbourne after Claire came across Swimming Hole Heaven and was inspired to visit one of the swimming holes with her kids
- Interviewed as a swimming hole aficionado for Virgin Australia's In-Flight magazine on Northern Territory swimming holes
- Contribution to a feature on swimming holes for The Age newspaper
- Assistance to students at Swinburne University and Monash University undertaking research on recreational uses of the Yarra River
- Advice to a film and television location scout about potential locations for water scenes
- Advice to the Horsham Visitor Information Centre about facilities at Taylors Lake
