Where is the closest accommodation to
Nunobiki Falls, Kobe? Here are my nearby homestay and hotel suggestions and their distance to the falls.
All distances below are by road to start of the walk to the falls at Shin-Kobe bullet train station, unless otherwise stated.

Accommodation close to Nunobiki Falls:
There is no camping in Nunobiki Park where the falls are located. There are several hotels and homestays close to Shin-Kobe station, given it is a major transport hub.
The closest accommodation I could find was the
ANA Crowne Plaza, which is located on the edge of the car park for the railway station, on a parcel of land squeezed in between the train station
and the Gondola lift station that takes the alternative route to Nunobiki Falls via the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden.

Where did I stay?
I actually did not stay in Kobe, but instead stayed in Osaka and visited the Nunobiki Falls as a day trip to Kobe. Shin-Kobe station is only a 20 minute bullet train ride from the Osaka
bullet train station, or up to an hour on the standard inter-city trains. In Osaka I stayed at
Hotel The Leben Osaka
(as a paying guest), which was one of the more mordern, spacious hotels that I stayed in whilst in Japan, in a good location within walking distance of two subways, plenty of eateries, and the river.

Local Guides for Nunobiki Falls
If you are looking for a local guide to help you navigate your way to Nunobiki Falls and other attractions around Kobe, you can try a
private walking tour with a Japanese and English speaking guide. I am not personally familiar with this tour operator, but notice that they have a negotiable itinerary,
with one of the images provided of the tour being at the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden above Nunobiki Falls.
