Where is the closest accommodation to Dangar Falls, Dorrigo? Here are my nearby camping, homestay, and hotel suggestions and their distance to the falls. All distances below are by road to the car park at the falls unless otherwise stated. Above: Dangar Falls (Order this image) The nearest accommodation that I could find, shown in my photo below, is actually visible from the walking track to the falls - so close that when the river is flowing well, you can hear the water crashing down in the distance from the verandah. There are two options available. Firstly inside the 5 bedroom lodge for up to 13 guests, which is best suited to large groups, or alternatively the powered and unpowered sites available for camping on the property. The approximate distance from the falls in the table below is by foot through the property gate.

Above: The closest accommodation to Dangar Falls that I could find (Order this image) Dorrigo township is approximately 2 km south of Dangar Falls by road. For those who would prefer to stay closer to the amenities in town, here are three accommodation options in Dorrigo. These are all located on the northern side of this small town, closest to the road leading out to the falls. A walking/cycling path to the falls from this side of town was under construction in 2022.

There is no camping at the Dorrigo Falls reserve itself. However, as mentioned above, there are a small number of powered and unpowered campsites on the Dangar Falls Lodge adjacent to the falls. Cabins and campsites are also available at the holiday park on Waterfall Way, located roughly halfway between Dorrigo township and the access road to the Dorrigo National Park Rainforest Centre. It is roughly 1 km from the holiday park to the town centre.
