This waterfall is lush, tall, strong, and straight, falling vertically into a large circular pool, with an elevated viewing platform and a poolside lawn.
The basalt columns that form the waterfall are still visible at the base and in pockets not covered by the encroaching rainforest.

Millaa Millaa Falls is the main drawcard along the Theresa Creek Road waterfall circuit, due to its impressive volume and height, and the
easily accessible pool below.
As soon as you enter the lower car park, the waterfall commands your attention, with a wide open green space providing a clear view across the water
to the falls. There is also a paved area where you can walk up to the edge of the pool for a closer look.

For anyone coming on a tour bus, you can drive into the lower car park and step straight out to view the falls. For everyone else
(unless you have a disabled parking permit) you need to park at the top car park and then walk down the steps to the lower car park.
Whilst there are not a lot of steps, they are steep and after rainfall can be quite muddy and slippery.

In drier weather you can have a picnic on the lawn in front of the falls and head into the waterfall pool when it gets too hot. Just
remember that you will need to carry your gear up and down the steps, so pack lightly.
Your Seasonal Guide:
